I can’t recommend Stuart and the team at Rudner law enough.

I can’t recommend Stuart and the team at Rudner law enough.  I have engaged them with several clients and have been very happy with their support.

Stuart is a person of trust

Stuart is a person of trust

I have known Stuart for more than five years. As an advisor to clients in Senior Management positions I need someone I can trust when I refer clients for legal counsel relating to their employment. Stuart is a person of trust. Not just because of his knowledge and skill in the legal arena but also because of the way he treats people – with care and respect – important at all times but especially during the often tough circumstances he is helping them work through.

If you ever require hight level advice

If you ever require hight level advice

I had the pleasure of meeting Stuart in 2008. He was highly recommended to me by the General Counsel of one of Canada’s largest employers. If you ever require high level advice regarding HR Legal matters I would also recommend him.

Stuart Proactively Protected us by Thinking Ahead

I have known Stuart for many years and when it came time to redo our employment agreements, he was my only call.  He changed our simple 2 page contract to a detailed agreement that protects us and our employees and removed any doubt about our responsibilities under the current laws. We update the agreement every year to make sure it meets the current legislation and best practices.  From Day 1, we had a clause to allow temporary layoffs. I had no clue at the time why Stuart included it in the agreement, but based on the current COVID-19 crisis, I’m glad that he proactively protected us by thinking ahead.

Quality legal services and emotional support when needed

Working with Nadia Zaman and the Rudner Law team was a pleasure. Not only did Nadia explain my litigation and non-litigation options, but she also had my best interest in mind when advising on managing my employer and anticipating their next steps. I was happy to learn that litigation was not the only way to handle my workplace situation. Although I received guidance on the likelihood of my case succeeding at trial, I never felt I needed to take my problem to court. In addition to explaining my legal rights, Nadia helped me understand some employment law fundamentals that would help me make informed choices in other workplaces throughout my career. In addition to providing quality legal services and emotional support when I needed one, Nadia helped keep my budget in check. She advised me on the cost-saving ways to communicate with my legal team. Finally, I am thankful to Nadia Zaman and Rudner Law for addressing my case holistically and consistently keeping my legal issues, emotional needs and financial constraints at the forefront of their mind.
